DELIVERING THE BEST IN FOOTWEAR TO THE CARIBOO AND BEYOND
For over 70 years, Walk Rite Shoes has delivered the very best in footwear to the residents of Williams Lake, BC. An established pillar of the community, Walk Rite now offers stores in Quesnel, BC and Prince George, BC, and beyond through the online world. As the second largest footwear retailer in Western Canada, we know we can provide you with the highest quality footwear for any activity or event, paired with the very best in customer service.
A beloved hallmark in the community since 1950, Walk Rite Shoes is the second oldest retail shop in Williams Lake and the second largest independently owner-operated shoe store in Western Canada. When it comes to delivering good old-fashioned customer service, Walk Rite knows how to put its best foot forward.
Melanie and Troy Ablitt, the owners since 2014, continue to uphold the shop’s value for outstanding service. They are committed to providing a wide variety of top-quality brands and sizes for customers and ensuring that each person finds what’s good for their sole. Whether it’s a winter boot, dress shoe, sneaker or sandal, Walk Rite wants to help their community look stylish and feel comfortable on every occasion.
Walk Rite set up a new store in Prince George during the spring of 2016, and then another in Quesnel in 2018. Since many friends from the Central Interior and Northern British Columbia were stopping in to buy footwear during their travels, the shop decided to plant their business in the hearts of these surrounding communities as well.
At the request of their Facebook followers, Walk Rite also set up an online store in 2017 to give customers the convenience of shopping for their favorite footwear in the comfort of their home. The shop is proud to offer the same high-quality products and service, now readily delivered right to people’s doors.
The staff at Walk Rite Shoes express their sincere gratitude and appreciation for the loyalty of their community
